KNOWING THE TYPES OF CLOUD BASED ON LOCATION

Cloud classification is based on the location and on the service offered by the cloud. Based on the location, cloud is classified into 4 types.

1. Private Cloud – All computing infrastructure are hosted by one person and not shared. In Private Cloud network, the security and control level are very high.
2. Public Cloud – The cloud computing company provides you the location for computing infrastructure.
3. Hybrid Cloud – Both private & public clouds are used depending upon the purpose. The most important and confidential applications are placed on private and own server clouds while the others are in the public cloud.
4. Community Cloud – Organizations with a common goal may share their cloud space which is called community cloud.
