Technology–enabled Learning for ERP Module:

An exciting new feature was introduced in SAP Business One version 8.8. The cockpit allows you to completely customize what each user sees when they first open the application. You can choose to activate the cockpit and add the different widgets into the main window. The widgets gallery includes
  • An application wide search function including the search of database records and windows
  • Common Functions – Drag and Drop only the windows you use on a daily basis
  • Open Documents – Snap shot of selected open items list, with the ability to open the underlined details
  • Browser – add your favorite websites and get a preview as you open the application
  • Creation of graphical dashboards to provide an overview all sales, purchasing, inventory and financial activity of the company. This feature will be available in future versions.

Activating the cockpit. The cockpit is an optional component. You can choose to activate for certain users. Go to Administration System Initialization General settings cockpit. Then go to Tools Cockpit Enable my cockpit.
