Personal settings feature in Sap B1:

People have their own choice of working techniques with variations in account details, language selection, background color, font etc. SAP Business One makes the workscreen captivating for users. The users could customize the interface according to their profile.

The user set up form is now readily accessed from the “My Personal Settings” icon in the toolbar. Every user has authorization to alter their personal settings. The General tab supports modifying contact details, department information and password details. Each time we are logged in, the service tab authorizes to define the actions. For eg., when we would like to assure that our inbox appears every time we receive a new message at login, we have to enable the display inbox when new message arrives. Screen locking time is extended to 60 minutes.

The appearance of our screen could be modified in the Display tab. Here in the eg., we have changed the windows color to classic, the font size is increased to 12 and language changed to German. Our company logo could be selected as background image. The implementation of these changes will be updated the next time we login. The user interface has been changed to German language, with all the personal settings features.

This enables efficient working of the users in SAP Business One.
