Using SAP Business One, you can link a resource master record to an item master record. Let us see how to link a senior technician resource to an item. Resources can be made available for selling and purchasing. To do this, create link between the resource and an item automatically by simply clicking on the create link button within the general tab. By clicking on the create link button, the resource master data window appears and confirms the creation of a non-inventory item. Upon creation of the non-inventory item, we get a link to the item master record within the resource master record. If you drill down into this link, you can navigate directly to the item master record that is created. This item master record is a non-inventory item that can be sold and purchased. The record has the same item code and description as a resource master record. There is also a direct link to the resource item master record. Now it is clear that how easy it is to make resources available for selling and purchasing by linking the resource master record to an item master record.
