SAP B1 -PRODUCTION MODULE:

Bill of Materials and Item Master are associated with each other. They accomodate the details of the identical items. One change in data of Item Master must be exchanged in Bill of Materials too.

To mitigate the repetition, SAP Business One has enhanced a significant feature of the Production module. Fundamentally, the descriptions in Item Master Data are emulated in Bill of Materials products description. The enhanced feature reflects the modifications in Item Master Data description to reflect in Bill of Materials product description. This can ease the repetitive tasks of searching the material number, editing and saving the data in multiple tables. When the system message is accepted, the enhanced feature comforts the user with the changes in both the tables.

The enhancement feature is expanded to drill down the data of the Bill of Materials to Item Master precisely. Rather than opening each window in Item Master and Bill of Materials alternatively, choose the option “Open Item Master data instead of BOM of a BOM item when selecting Link arrow”.

Henceforth, just a click on your mouse can open respective item master data from the same screen. These enhancements in SAP Business One 10.0 minimizes your workload.
