PROVISIONING A NEW USER WITH THE SAP BUSINESS ONE
Provisioning a new user with the SAP B1 Application
The first step in to create domain for new user. To do that go to administrative tools and select active directory users and computers. Or else select users object, right-click and choose new user. The quickest and easiest thing to do is copy one of those existing users rather than going through the process of creating a user here.
The next step is Log on to cloud control center which is the web based tool for provisioning our cloud infrastructure. Click on application management and choose the option called ‘my tenant’ to add this particular user to a specific tenant. Go to user management and choose the option ‘new’. Now open up new user function to enter the domain user name. You can click the option ‘check name’ to see it is validated across against the domain.
Now log on to SAP Business One and any change which we have made in our cloud control center will be synchronized. The user has now been provisioned in SAP Business One therefore let the cockpit load up. Under administration set up into general and go to user’s option. You can see user name are displayed as I number. You can change it to person’s full name which makes it easier for us to manage. The user code is automatically matched across to the user account which is in the domain and this is what enables SAP Business One to operate with single sign-on.
Select the user as mobile user. The selected user has to provide their mobile device unique ID. If the users don’t have any authorizations, we can grant them authorize in this situation. It is recommended to follow upcoming restriction methods for a secured system. Restrict the ability for the person to launch applications which can able to shell out of SAP Business One to access the operating system. Restrict access or authorization to the execute commands for the same reason.
