CONFIGURING THE RSP EMAIL CHANNEL
How to configure the RSP Email Channel:
In SAP Business One, the RSP is known as Remote Support Platform. When the RSP execute tasks it sends the results of those tasks through channels. We have to configure how those tasks come to us. The first of those channels we are going to configure is the e-mail channel. Go to the RSP console, log-in with admin username and password and then we click the configuration to choose channels. Then go to the e-mail channel and then tick the checkbox to activate this particular channel. Make sure that whether we are using standard SMTP or secured SMTP. In that SMTP server we have to use our username and password for authentication.
While looking at our inbox we have to make sure that this the email address where the e-mail is coming from and find the e-mail recipients who are going to receive the results when the task is executed. Add multiple recipients and just need to separate them with a semicolon. Specify the maximum attachment size to cope with different restrictions and limitations from our e-mail server. Finally choose the test connection for running the test in-order save our configuration.
