In this series we will be discussing about sales stage management. Every company has multiple sales stages through which any enquiry travels before the order gets closed as won or lost. For example, a company might have 4 sales stages, say quotation, follow-up, negotiation and final order. SAP Business One can let any enquiry pass through each of these stages. The salesman can move the enquiry from one stage to the other stage. The date and time when it is moving through the sales stages gets recorded and gives management a sense of average time for an enquiry to get closed. This helps the management to jump into the enquires where it is not moving forward. It also clearly let them know each stage has how much enquiries, which is the oldest enquiry struck on the particular stage and the reasons for the enquiries being struck on the particular stage. There are multiple reports available in SAP Business One where sales stage management can be viewed. Sales stage management can be reviewed by a salesman, a product category and customer verticals and name it the way you want to do it the sales funnel or the sales stage reports can be reviewed.
